Over the past 20+ years, thanks to the incredible support of local customers, we’ve reinvested over $600K back into the Rockingham region. That funding has supported local sporting clubs, schools, service groups, and community projects that make Rockingham a better place to live, work and grow.

Instead, we return them straight back into the community that earned them - in this case, right here in Rockingham. What we support – Our Investment Pillars

Our Community Investment Program offers both grants and sponsorships to local groups that are working hard to make Rockingham stronger, safer, more inclusive and more vibrant.

We’re backing bold ideas—whether they’re community-driven, creative, practical or inspiring. If your organisation is making a difference, we’d love to hear from you.

We are doing this to ensure we are purposeful and intentional with our grants and sponsorships that align with our key community-building pillars of:

1. Community, Collaboration & Connection: We focus on building and maintaining strong partnerships in Rockingham that collectively build both business and community capacity. Eg. financial literacy, digital inclusion, social cohesion, safer communities, animal welfare.
2. Community Leadership: We invest in leadership initiatives that drive good decision making, business and community acumen and resilience that deliver business and community impact. Eg. Choice & Empowerment, Financial Inclusion, employment & economic impact, education & research.
3. Community Health & Wellbeing: We support programs in area that support wellbeing and resilience, including financial literacy, mental health initiatives, handling change, health and vitality, promoting healthy bodies-healthy minds.
4. Community Resilience: We support initiatives that create an impact in improving and sustaining our community. This includes support programs that provide the frameworks for our volunteers and local champions striving to protect and make our region a better place to live eg. housing and homelessness, food security, disaster recovery, environment.

Who can apply?

We welcome applications from all corners of our community—sporting clubs, schools, neighbourhood groups, service organisations and charities, just to name a few. If your project helps people connect, learn, grow or thrive, it’s worth talking to us.

3. Submit your online application
4. Wait to hear back from us
5. Sign the agreement if successful
6. Send us a tax invoice so we can fund your project
7. Deliver your amazing community initiative
8. Share your impact story with us—we love celebrating local wins!

What to apply for - A grant or a sponsorship?

Grants 

A Grant is a sum of money provided for a specific purpose, to address a social issue within the community, aiming to drive awareness for both the social cause and Community Bank Rockingham.

Sponsorships 

A sponsorship is an arrangement with Community Bank Rockingham to support an event, activity, individual or organisation through the provision of money, goods or services.

Our sponsorships typically provide a tangible benefit to both the recipient (which benefits through receiving material support) and the sponsor (which benefits via enhanced public image and access to a wider audience). The recipient is required to provide some service back to the sponsor, such as advertising or tickets.

Please note:

• Charitable donations or grants are not sponsorships. Please discuss with us whether these may qualify for our grants program.
• Direct advertising is not considered a sponsorship.
